We often get requests from folks who’d like to join us in our mission, especially in the form of volunteering their time as tutors.

We recommend that anyone interested in becoming a volunteer tutor first take part in the one-day training offered by the Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati. This training consistently receives outstanding reviews from its participants, and we’ve found that those who have completed the training tend to be the volunteers who truly get the most out of their LCW experience.

After completing the Literacy Network training course, please contact us so that we may explain in greater detail what you can expect from your tutoring experience at LCW.

Fundraisers

LCW hosts two or three fundraisers per year. These have included an annual golf shootout, a gala, a poker tournament, and a few other events designed to be fun while supporting a great cause.

We always need committee members and “day of” volunteers at these events, so if event planning and execution is something that interests you, please contact us so we can let you know what opportunities are available.
